Spread across 3.5 hectares of nature, pine forest, sea breeze, and freedom, this eco-glamping retreat sits on the sand, just 150 meters from the ocean, offering all the comfort you need. With plenty of space and shaded areas, a mini-market and a shop, a restaurant serving delicious food, and five facilities with showers, restrooms, and laundry areas distributed across the site. An outdoor playground and two tree-top adventure courses make it a paradise where children can roam and play freely.
The island is luminous, soft, white, and blue. Peaceful and untroubled. Near and remote. Connected to nature, nestled among pine trees, close to the sea, winding through dunes, between sea thrift and samphire. Flowing with the rhythm of the lagoon, filling and emptying with the tides. How to Get Here

By Ferry
The easiest way to reach Tavira Island is by ferry. In summer, boats depart every 15 minutes from Tavira’s city center or Quatro Águas. The journey takes 15 or 5 minutes, offering the perfect way to immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the Ria Formosa.
By Water Taxi
A more flexible option for those seeking privacy and freedom of schedule. Water taxis accommodate multiple passengers and depart from Tavira’s port or Quatro Águas. Available year-round.
Getting to the Departure Points
Tavira Pier: Located in the downtown area, next to the old market, easily accessible on foot from the city center.
Quatro Águas: Just a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from the city center. If you’re arriving by car, there is a parking area available.

Sustainability
ORLA is a responsible and conscious eco-glamping retreat. Sustainability is one of the core pillars of our project—both a guiding principle and a daily practice.
We use 100% green energy throughout the site and have chosen eco-friendly solutions, such as heating water with heat pumps. To promote responsible water usage, all taps are equipped with coin-operated regulators to control consumption.
Recycling points are strategically placed around the site, and in our mini-market, restaurant, and shop, we prioritize local and seasonal products, minimizing environmental impact as much as possible.
